I have dealt with allergies my whole life, and I am so sick of it The worst part is that Claritin and Zyrtec don't even have a mild effect on me The generic ones help with runny nose, but then I am groggy and sleep all day, which makes me think I may as well just take a blasted sleeping pill I have a neti pot too, and that just makes things worse. I also can't afford allergy shots for the time being, but am considering it. I need a remedy now Thank you
Are there any herbal/natural medicines/remedies for bipolar depression?
I've heard that exercise is supposed to work, which I've tried. It works for a couple of hours max. after a good workout and then I hit rock bottom again. Also I don't have any clues how to control the " highs" . It's got to the point where I can't just let it go on because I can tell it's getting worse, especially the depression side of it. I know that St. John's Wort is used for depression, but I read somewhere that it shouldn't be used for bipolar depression.Although I do want to lose some weight, my main aims in working out was to try and balance my moods. I'm ok with losing weight, I need help with something to balance my moods.I have changed my diet dramatically making sure I get a well balanced diet and I've been exercising. I've tested this method for almost 10 months and it's only just got worse.
HELP with herniated disc, sciatica and medicines/remedies for it?
This is quite lengthy but I hope someone will read & help I had my first incident with sciatica over a year ago. Started off with an annoying pain in my left butt cheek. I didn't think anything of it, until after I went bowling and I was in the worst pain of my life. Pain radiated down my left leg, even felt tingly and numb. I couldn't stand up straight. Went to numerous doctors, had MRI's and x rays and they concluded I have a herniated disc at L5 S1 which pinches my sciatic nerve, and arthritis there as well. I am only 21 years old and don't understand why I'd have arthritis, other than an incident 4 years ago where I fell down the stairs, injured my back and never went to the doctor for it. It was hard to walk, but in time I thought it healed on its own. They talked about surgery to cure my sciatica and herniated disc if it doesn't get better after 6 months. Well, I thought it was fine and haven't had a problem in months until the other day I had a major cold with intense coughing that ended up triggering my sciatica once again. Every time I cough, my sciatica gets worse. I cannot stand completely erect, but then I cannot lean over to wash my face brush my teeth, anything. I walk like a hunchback. I tried naproxen which did not work at all. My spine doctor prescribed me Choline Mag Trisal 750 mg TCAR...2 tablets every 12 hours. I have yet to take it because 1500 mg of aspirin 2 times a day seems like a lot to me. Is this normal safe, and what other pain relievers, home remedies or natural cures can I try? I am female, 21 years old, 5'7 and weigh 115 pounds. I live a moderately sedentary lifestyle. Would working out my back muscles help? Thanks I forgot to mention. I went to physical therapy for a few weeks which did nothing. It was almost a joke to me because he made me use an eliptical for 30 mins then sit on a table and do stretches that I did not feel anywhere near my herniated disc at all. Maybe researching a better physical therapist would help? Any success stories with the use of physical therapy? I live in South Jersey.

I have had UC for almost 3 years, it came on very suddenly and it has changed my entire life style. I would like to hear from anyone who has this or Colitis, or Chron's. I need help and understanding and what treatments other's have tried or suggest. I'm at my wits end, and I want to return to my active lifestyle, but am exhausted, and if I eat, it just makes it worse. I've been to the Specialist, and he just gets me more pills, cortizone stuff which makes me feel even worse I am getting yeast now too from all this medication.Any alternative treatments? Getting extremely nauseous with new medicine, remedies?
I was dx'd in June at age 18 w T2 bit of a surprise seeing as I'm not obese or had any symptoms , and it seems to be progressing really fast Anyway, they've quadrupled my Metformin since then, so I'm taking 1,000 mg twice a day as well as 30 mg Actos once a day This started last Thursday . The problem I'm getting so nauseous whenever I take these medications, it's so bad I'm nauseous the entire day. I know that Met can cause some ugly side affects so what remedies can I do until my body adjusts? ETA Just an FYI I've had an antibodies test done and it was negative, so they're sure its Type 2. intheflowNo, diabetes is " not always brought on by poor diet" . I've been following a strict vegetarian diet for a long while before diagnosis, and if you're telling me that soy products with vegetables is a poor diet and I caused my own diabetes you're sadly misinformed. What is the name of that traditional chinese medicine remedy (dried orange skin) for soare throat in winter?
When I was living in Taiwan, I picked up some good habit from the people I was living with, including chinese medicine remedies. One was to eat some bitter sour orange like dried skins sold in blisters in winter. I believe it could be kumquat skins. Now that I am back i don't know the name and cannot find them here. Hence I need a little help with a correct ID.
