Is it possible... too much human growth hormone?
I know children can produce too little human growth hormone. My friend's son has this problem and has to have injections. He is 15 and looks to be about 9. I'm wondering if a child can produce too much human growth hormone? If so, would it cause them to be taller, heavier, and cause them to start puberty earlier than most kids their age? My son is almost 12 and has been getting nightly injections of Nortitropin, 0.125mg. Has anyone had any experience with either positive or negative effects of this when used to treat a growth hormone deficiency?
